Ha ha! I remember installing our dishwasher about 3 years ago. The seals on the old pump started leaking and the tech said a new one would be cheaper than repairing the old one, and would be more efficient. He even gave me the advice on how to install a new one. The only thing about these new ones, they have a trap that needs to be emptied once every few days or they develop a smell. Someone is even selling a product that cleans dishwashers!? Read the owner's manual, Kurt!
