Video Websites That You Can Embed In Your Posts

Post by Admin1 » Tue Jan 03, 2017 8:27 am

The old SHR website only supported embedded videos from YouTube. This newer version of phpBB supports many more. Videos from this list of websites can be directly embedded into your posts using the video button. Use the scroll bar to view the entire list.

Yeah it is, but I'm not sure many of them will have videos relevant to SHR, NASCAR or racing in general. Figured I'd let everybody know anyway.

With some help from the users on the phpBB forum support group, I was able to figure out how to embed videos from NBC Sports. It is not straight forward and fairly complicated. In some cases, there are ads that play first so if you have an ad blocker, it will have to be temporarily disabled. Also, like in this test video, once you start playing it, there are no controls to pause, play, full screen, etc.

I'm going to keep working on it to see if I can get the controls to display and work.

I still haven't been able to figure out Fox Sports. Working on it.
