What about a blog to ask about new ideas for new blogs ?

Wondering if we can use a blog to test out idea's for possible new blogs. We can get some feed back before starting some ?

Possible new blog? - What do you know?

How about a blog where folks can enter all kinds of info to share. Hacks, tips, tricks, idea's & such.

For instance, I just found out to unplug my phone / tablet chargers from the wall, when not in use, to save on power & money.

People can even ask questions and get help.

A Writers Blog ?

We used to have a blog for stories written by members. It used to center around Tony - but how about a blog where anyone can write a short story or ongoing stories about anything? I KNOW we have some very talented writers in creative, poetry and even opinions/editorials.

I know a lot of folks like "blasts from the past" - so how about one where only the past is remembered?


Does anyone have any other idea's ?

Idea.........We can have a blog for anything that U want to know how to Fix it, or to repair it, little tricks that U have to share. I think every one know's how to change a Light-Bulb :s_biggrin

J - I think a "handyman" / contractor blog would be VERY helpful - as I myself have had to ask a few of you guys some questions, through out the years. So I would definitely vote for a blog like that.

But... handyman / contractor seems too narrow, because maybe we have some expert cooks / chefs who can help ... or folks who sew or do crafts... I'm sure we have professionals in all walks here... so how about a general "I need help" and/or one blog for just tips, hacks & such?

Maybe HH can set up some "vote for blog ideas" ? polls?

MJ - I used to do that - but found myself missing out on a lot of updates that would affect what I wanted to do and then had to wait to go thru about 10 to 20 updates when I turned off & back on, so now I shut 'er down every night. Never even considered the power usage going on, while I slept. $7.00 a month is 2 loafs of bread & a gallon of milk, to me! LOL

We could use some more Ideas from the SHR Gang too

When you start a new topic, you can make your own poll. You CANNOT start a poll when you are replying to an existing topic. Anyone can create a poll topic. Many folks may not realize that because the tab to do it is below the Submit button.

This is a good idea. Smokie is smart. Ask me about your car. I work on them 5 days a week. Right now, I can't go to band practice because I fear I may re-open the wound on my right index finger I acquired Tuesday. Fixing auto-body damage means working around sharp metal objects.
