They say that by the end of the month we are supposed to reach $3.00 per gallon. I am not sure if I believe it or not.

Prices at the Pump Continue to Rise as Summer Demand is Anticipated

Regular unleaded is in the $2.40's range here in the Fort Myers/Naples area. It's always more expensive here than in the Tampa Bay area where we live.

Glad you added FT Myers next to Naples because I was going to say that Naples is the same as Bridgton as our towns are next to each other. :s_biggrin

Ours is way older. It was settled in 1790 and founded in 1834.

Yours was settled in 1886, incorporated in 1925 as a town, then as a city in 1949.

You definitely have more multi-million dollar properties. Our town has a net worth of 1.3 billion in property value. Naples has net worth of 9.8 million in property value (not including school properties in any town). This may not sound like a lot compared to where you live, but our school district has a property value of more than 3.7 billion across four towns. Our town alone has 17 lakes, ponds, and rivers.

I paid $2.37 at BJ's yesterday.....it varies depending which suburb of Rochester that the store is in....I know most of the time it is has been .05-.10 cents cheaper in the other 2 'burbs. Unfortunately I moved to the more expensive one, but it it just up the street from me and more convenient than the other 2 were where I lived before.
