In the Monterey area on the "left coast" we are anywhere from $3.50 to $3.85 per gallon.

I guess we should consider ourselves fortunate. Good to know you are still with us, Alan.

My cousin sent me an email this morning that she just paid $5.04 in New York and that was the cheapest in town she said there were other places that were as high as $5.15 a gallon. She said it is making the west coast look pretty good and coming back home to New England pretty good right at the moment.

I saw gas Friday at 2.59 - 2.65/gal. Glad I don't need any more until Wednesday. Maybe the price will drop by then. Of course, then again, there is a tropical disturbance in the gulf and oil rigs may shut down. Another excuse for a price hike!!! :s_mad :swear: :eye-poke:

Yup and just because the commodities market has dropped nearly $4 per barrel, we won't see that decrease until next month at some point...if we are lucky

Just paid $3.69/gal here at a Valero station in Marina, CA and saw that the Shell station is at $3.85. The local news showed that if you're going down Highway 1 and have to gas up in Gorda (halfway between Monterey and Morro Bay) it's $6.60/gal. :s_omg
