Re: The Eclipse....
One of those is NOT a sun spot, it's the International Space Station flying by.

Re: The Eclipse....
We had 3 minutes or more of totality...WHAT A RUSH!!!! I even saw a confused little bat darting about! The streetlights came on.
My cat didn't think much of it.

Re: The Eclipse....
We led my grandnieces out of the garage once totality had occurred. The youngest, just turned 5, saw the corona and screamed bloody murder...then, began to cry! I wasn't expecting that kind of reaction and, yes I jumped plumb outta my shoes!

Re: The Eclipse....
Thanks so much for the offer.....
This is my third solar eclipse..One 1979 in Northern California with 6 cub scouts looking through cereal boxes.....lol...they didn't cry... the best was 1991 on Diamond Head in Honolulu Hawaii.....It was incredible......and today was good but not totally total eclipse.... Eerie for sure, and about ten degrees cooler and much like twilight....In North Carolina 10 degrees cooler is a good thing.. ...It is something that everyone should experience, a chance of a lifetime for sure..

Re: The Eclipse....
A couple years back, I saw the ISS for about 15 minutes. I think that thing is as big as a couple of football fields because it IS 250 miles up'ere! And because they are closer to the Moon, they may not have seen as much of the corona. I felt awed and at the same time, so small!
