Updated forecast path shows a slight shift to the right (east) which is good news for the Tampa Bay area.

Yes, we're staying. We are as prepared as we can be. All of the north-bound routes are jammed. Better to be in a concrete & block house than stuck on the road in a vehicle.

Most of my friends have left, one is in Chattanooga, Tennessee, one is in Alpharetta, Georgia, and I have my nephew and his friends from Embry Riddle University....They said the left last night and the roads weren't bad....Also they got off the main highways and took the back roads....They used their GPS... Good luck and prayers....Hope your roof stays on...that's what came off our concrete block house......

I have an idea....Richmond, Va....I hear there is a pretty good race this weekend.... :s_crazy :s_crazy :s_thumbsup

The current path literally brings the eye wall right over our rooftop. This is no joke!

We're far enough inland that storm surge won't be an issue for us. It's the wind.
