GO AWAY IRMA..........Our friend CJ Wax ...mayor of Rockport is on the news and weather channel now as a regular...They lost over 60% of their town, but there is an 1100 year old oak tree that made it ...amazing.....His advice "LEAVE"..“We’ve instructed the citizens of Rockport who did not evacuate to write their name and Social Security number on their forearm to help out first responders should they find a body,” Mayor CJ Wax. That was a CAT 4...This is a Cat 5......

....THINK ABOUT IT HH AND JSW......We can replace things but we can't replace people...

I'm about 20 North of downtown Tampa. J is further north of me and more inland.

That would still be too close for comfort for me that early in the landfall. I was at Richmond one year when a hurricane or was a tropical depression/storm by the time it got to us. It was no fun at all...
Stay safe anyone in Irma's path/projected path.

Irma is stronger storm than Andrew.....I don't mess with Mother Nature.....Winds are at 185.....Don't think there are to many structures that can with stand it....I lived in Japan three years of my younger life and we were hit with 2 Major Typhoons, I will Never forget it...It was at night when they hit, even more scary.....Typhoons are the western version of Hurricanes.....Awful....
