Re: Birthdays
Wow, sounds so familiar here too on so many levels. My Mom is having issues with her left knee even though she too has had replacement. My Dad is having more hip issues and both of them are having difficulty with stairs. I have received several calls from them over the past few months asking for assistance. At least we only live a matter of a few miles apart. Then there is my Mom's cancer, her treatment options are very limited because of other health issues and because this is her third go around with this deplorable disease. So, we just go day by day with them.
My in-laws is a book all by itself. A story for a different day.

Re: Birthdays
I want y'all to know you are in my thoughts and prayers for taking care of your elders.
And, a big Thanks to everyone who does.
My Mom had a left knee replacement 15 years ago and both of her knees keep her in pain.
Dad gets winded going to the mailbox. I had to manufacture a ramp from the garage floor to the interior house level a year ago.
I stayed home from work today, it's OK - I work my Brother, to run some shopping errands for Mom.
Dad is 86 and Mom is 83, and they are tough! I shall try my best to be as tough! - Alan.

Great post, HH! I guess I'm gonna pick Stewart/Haas cars today! Happy Birthday Gene! Unfortunately, his F1 team wasn't too good today in Brazil....
