Dale did it once in that same circumstance. Terry Labonte in 1999. (Think that's the right year) He was roundly booed and deservedly so. That piece covered every "event" throughout the race. Did you only read the end?

Dale "moved" a lot of drivers. Chase "moved" Brad. Denny jacked Chase up and drove him into the wall.
