Re: Gasoline Prices
Thursday, the place in front of Wal-Mart had regular for 2.51. I went by there Friday and it was 2.41/gal again. This is Putin's fault! The Donald better straighten his a$$ out!

Most of the petroleum products for this part of the country come from Canada by train or through the pipeline

Re: Gasoline Prices
We get all ours from the pipeline that ends in Northeast Augusta, GA. The supplies from the refineries come from the Gulf of Mexico. Ergo, if there is any chance of a tropical disturbance of any kind, our fuel prices rise by ten cents per day. I consider this to be price gouging!

Re: Gasoline Prices
There is a law up here where you can't raise the price of gas more than 12 cents per gallon in a 24 hour period. I am not sure if that is a regional thing or a federal one.
We have seen this take place during times of bad winter weather where it is one bad storm after another and they can't get the tankers in to the tank farm or there has been a huge spike in the cost of crude...light or sweet.
