How are the 10 and 15 year olds doing, this can be difficult on them if they don't completely understand everything going on

I tend to leave the room when the ladies talk about feminine issues...There are 5 of them.
The 2 girls have episodes and pass-out from time to time when they get hurt or see blood. It might be similar to what you know about. The older one had an episode yesterday but is doing fine today. Gosh, that girl can make some groceries disappear!
Thank you for your concern.

Oh just a little familiar as all mine are similar with similar drama issues...I have an 11 year foster daughter, 10 year old homeschool daughter, and an 18 year old biological daughter.

I sit here in tears this evening asking for your prayers. I know only God can do this and it pains me seeing what is going on.

My mom has had x-rays, ct scans, mri scans, and pet scans. Nothing good has come from any of the results. They have found her body is just riddled with arthritis and that is not the worst of it, they also have found cancer in the liver, lymph nodes, it is no longer encased in a tumor in the kidney, it has also been found in the blood, we don't know if it is in the bones but suspect it is.

Because my mom is now on her 5th or 6th round of cancer, she is waiting to find out where the cancer originated from this time by testing some lymph nodes. She is running out of options for medication and her doctors are now communicating with doctors in parts of the country, even if it means experimental meds. She is living one day at a time. My parents have changed their power of attorney over healthcare from my sister to me. I dropped this particular issue a long time ago, but apparently my brother has still been beating this drum and my parents I guess have realized they need someone a lot closer to home than my sister who lives in SC.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing. My mom has said I can ask for prayers, but she does not want the local community finding out because she wants to tell them.

Thank the Lord, they are moving up the surgery date by three weeks. I have been thinking that waiting nearly a month was too long. My cousin and my mom's primary care doctor have been pushing for a quicker surgical date. My cousin is an oncologist and is on the list of among the best in the country. My mom's cancer doctor did not believe her so my dad took out his phone and said this is our niece and showed the doctor her bio and credentials from the hospital bio page at Johns Hopkins. The doctor's mouth dropped and said if she wants to come and consult with our team, she is more than welcome at any time.

They are going to do the surgery in such a way where they do not have to open her up.

I know you'll be there. I also pray that your family can unite and be strong for her...she needs this.
