Normally, when a user sends a PM to another user, a notification email is sent to the user receiving the PM to let them know a new message is there. Beaverpond reported that this function does not appear to be working. After some additional testing, I was able to verify the problem.
I have reported the problem to Brandin at Envesko for investigation.
Until the problem is resolved, keep in mind that you may have new PMs but have not received an email notification.

UPDATE: See Beaver's post below. The problem appears to be affecting all notification emails, not just for PMs.

This is affecting more than just PM notifications, this is affecting all notifications for me from all threads that I am following.
