I listen on the scanner…..I hope they play clips from it…It was the biggest mess they have gotten themselves into…Quit trying new gimmicks and just let them race…..Look at the stands…WAKE UP NASCAR..

This wasn’t a race today..It was Nascar doing what it does best…Screw things up…That resin had never been used before…They had no idea what it would do..It was survival of the equipment….They brought the wrong tire …….The stands were empty….Bristol was one of the most exciting races in NASCAR…I have been there twice…The stands were full to over flowing..They raced with talent….There isn’t a better race, when done right…WAKE UP NASCAR… YOU ARE DESTROYING YOURSELF…QUIT THE GIMMICKS, JUST LET THEM DO WHAT THEY DO BEST…..RACE!!!
Couldn't agree more, Annalee. It was not an enjoyable race. It reminded me of the 2008 Brickyard "tire debacle."

I listen on the Scanner…If you really want to know what is going on, the crew chiefs and spotters do…I just hope the play some of it….It is priceless, but they won’t because it will show just how completely stupid they are …The drivers, crew chiefs all wanted Nascar to red flag it and put PJ1 on top of the resin, but they wouldn’t because it cost to much…Compared to two more sets of tires for each car....Drop in the bucket….Nascar is self destructing…Then in the middle of this mess, Nascar told the drivers to pick up the pace…Well even if they wanted to, these cars have sensors in them that if a tire is going down, the engine slows down so picking up the pace is not an option…The scanner audio was better than the race… :s_laughat :s_omg

Maybe Nascar should look into buying the company that makes PJ1. The resin crap they tried at Bristol was obviously the wrong choice. The PJ1 stuff worked! We used their chain-lube on our race bikes in the late '70's to the early "80's. Never had a chain problem.

ANOTHER TIRE EXPERIMENT…SMH :s_omg

All three NASCAR national series will run different tire set-ups at COTA this week . . . Cup teams ran this same tire combination at COTA in 2023, as well as at their other five road courses last season . . . different from how Cup teams run distinct left-side and right-side tire codes on ovals, they will run one tire code on the left-front and right-rear, and a different tire code on the right-front and left-rear
