That cardinal must be from NY / DC area because up in the Northern New England area, Starbucks is almost non-existant...it is down to about two or three per state. Like in Maine there is one in Bangor, Portland, and Norway.
However, the largest places to get good coffee is McDonalds as they sell coffee from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and there is Dunkin Donuts Coffee which is in just about every town and some towns and cities have several of them.

Actually I don't drink coffee...I drink Hot Chocolate and Cappuccino and the local restaurant down the street has the best. They open for breakfast and I don't mind stopping in there on cold mornings of course the ski resort also has some awesome Cappuccino and Hot Chocolate too. I love it from the Ski Resort as there is no powder involved, it is made from several ingredients that will put you on sugar high for the rest of the day. :s_coffee

WOW, what an idiot...the cappuccino and hot chocolate are not made from powder
Of course the snow is packed powder and in some cases ice
Their hot chocolate recipe is the one I use for special youth program events:
heavy cream
chocolate collets
milk
sweetened condensed milk
pure vanilla extract
This hot chocolate recipe is absolutely to die for

An elderly, but hardy cattleman from Texas once told a young female neighbor that if she wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gunpowder on her oatmeal each morning.
She did this religiously and lived to the age of 103!
She left behind14 children, 30 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a 40 foot hole where the crematorium used to be.

The graphic is too big, Duffy. I can't read it. Chopped off on the right. When you post a large graphic/photo, use the ResiZe button rather than the Img button.
