Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I've checked in and I thought I would explain my absence.
As most of you know my father-in-law has been battling bladder cancer. At 88 he doesn't want to do anything heroic or to compromise what quality of life that remains for him. He's doing well and holding his own, that makes us very happy.
My husband was diagnosed in September with Myasthenia Gravis. It's not a life threatening disease but it will certainly affect his quality of life. We are and will continue to deal with this with every bit of resilience and grace as we can muster.
I was able to attend the Charlotte race earlier this month and had a ball with friends I've met through this forum and on Facebook.

So good to hear from you, Lynn!!! I was soooo worried about y'all when Harvey decided to hang around SE Texas. I hope your dream home survived! Best wishes and love, Alan.
