Guess we'll just have to let the silly season progress and wait for news.

I do know that last year, one of the sticking points for Kurt was possession of the car that won Daytona. It was moved to the lobby of Haas Automation.....somewhere in California. Gene Haas considers that to be his trophy! Will Kurt leave SHR? I just don't know........

Here is some speculation from Jayski's:
POTENTIAL Free-Agent Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Regulars AFTER the 2018 season
#00-Landon Cassill
#1-Jamie McMurray (Daytona 500 and retires?)
#6-Trevor Bayne
#19-Daniel Suarez (could head to #41 in 2019)
#32-Matt DiBenedetto (headed to #95 team)
#34-Michael McDowell (supposedly will stay in #34)
#41-Kurt Busch (Ganassi's #1?)
#72-Corey LaJoie
#78-Martin Truex, Jr.(replaces Suarez in #19, #78 closes)
#47-A.J. Allmendinger (no word on 2019 plans after being replaced for 2019)
#96-Jeffrey Earnhardt
Reed Sorenson

Well this is just out......
Kurt Busch will not announce his 2019 plans this week. Wednesday he told the media at Las Vegas, "Things just didn't come together.... There’s a few people in the works still that haven’t committed and we’ve got to get those things lined up. It is late, but I still feel confident on where things will go.”

I have been a fan of Kurt since he ran in the truck series. He will land in a good ride.
