Ampersand really needs it's own day?!?

HH, don't knock ampersands. I learned the word & symbol in 1983 & have loved using it ever since. I don't care for the one that shows up in this font but, I could go on & on......

It was not created by Congress, it was created by author, designer, typographer Chaz DeSimone only four years ago.

So I am with H on this, should it really count and how many of these others do we really count. I know some come from international days and some are national days, but this one is a little far fetched even for me.

Its like National Lobster Day, that was created by Congress for September 25th. International Lobster Day is June 15th and was created by the World Trade Organization. So lobster is celebrated twice a year by two different governing bodies who gave it its own day, both created the day in the same year...2014.

Yup, I am full of all kinds of useless information today.
