My hubby needs a detailed map, if I ask him to get something...And I swear that if I am slightly off, sometimes less than an inch he can’t find it...

if you give him a map an inch could be 5000 miles depending on the map

A few years ago my daughter had no concept of distance and said to me … see look it is only five inches to Guam, we can get there in no time. I told her, honey Guam is about 7800 miles from here which is about 28 hours by plane and that is with one layover in Texas.

She just looked at me and said if you think I am going to go visit them, well that just ain't going to happen, but we do talk about every couple of weeks by phone and about every week by computer.

I’m talking about inside the house..... He was a pilot in the Air Force and trust me he needed a Navigator....Thank goodness for GPS, or he couldn’t find his way out of a coat closet with an organized search party..... . He has many fine qualities, just not that one...

My floors are in, countertops are in and backsplash tile is next, then farmhouse sink and kitchen island is almost built.....I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel . I hope it’s not an on coming train.....

Only lost power for 8 hours.....3 am...It’s really quiet and very dark...You could hear transformers exploding and a bright pink lights....Very spooky....Kinda like we were under attack....Yikes, I’ve had enough fun for the day and no more ice...
