Mom and I went to the commissary on Fort Jackson this morning. They not only check your ID at the gates, they are also checking your temperatures. We passed!
At the com we had to stand in line outside because they were only allowing 100 people at a time into the store. They had a limit of two packages of beef, pork and chicken. We got $50.00 of meat. Then we had to start taking note of everything because dependents were only allowed $100.00 in purchases. We left with 85 dollars of groceries. Nary a roll of TP in the place!
At least they had meat. Yesterday, I went to food-Lion and the most meat they had was large bags of chicken feet! Who eats that?

They have started to restock the meat dept with every type of meat you can imagine, but there is a limit on how many packages of each type of meat you can purchase per day. Because everything in all three grocery store chains has a rewards program, they can track your purchases. I saw somebody get denied for trying to exceed their daily limit. They were ticked and a manager came over and had to explain it to them. We need some for as many people as possible.

I bought stuff for people who were working, stuff I did not need and did not exceed the daily limit. I knew what they needed and told them if I can find it, I will get it for them. I messaged them afterwards and heard from them while they were working and they were ecstatic because I scored some stuff and that somebody would actually do that for them.

....Well Rosie the Riverter II is out of business again .....But necessity is the Mother of Invention.. I am now using Velcro ty down straps to make adjustable straps for the face masks....Just waiting for them from Amazon......
