I scored me some gas yesterday for $3.89/gal. Went down the road and it was a dime cheaper. Was informed today that the SSA dropped a wad in my account. I'm filling-up with Ethyl tomorrow Morning and taking my Honda to the dealership for service!

Monday, I brought Poppa's truck home from the shop. A 1996 Ram with 37,280 miles on her.
The factory grease on the front spindles and axles had turned to clay within a mile of the shop. The only thing holding the right front on the truck was the brake caliper! So while we replaced all of the inner and outer bearing and seals and rotors, we rebuilt the calipers and put new brake pads on her.
Next, I'm gonna change the rear-end dope and have the transmission checked. I wanna drive this wonderful beauty many more miles.

BTW, I filled her up for $3,37/gal on the way home Monday. I also added a bottle of Lucas Oil stuff to the tank before fueling.

I filled the Fit Wednesday @ $3.19/gal. Just don't know how long these prices will last and what kind of additives are in this gas.

I would not complain if I was you. In Maine we are still well over $4 a gallon. Just paid $4.19 and saw prices where I was traveling as high as $4.49 today. This is nuts.
According to AAA, most of the country is below $4 a gallon unless you travel into Maine. They say there are a few stations selling gas at cost to get people in to purchase items inside at somewhat inflated prices.
However most stations in Maine are selling well over $4 a gallon. The price on the market as of today is $2.9257 per gallon. You can't tell me they are not making a pretty penny off the consumer.

It sounds like y'all are getting bent over a barrel without a drop of Quaker State! It is my hope that the greedy folks at the top of the fuel chain, choke to death on all their profits!
