For the first time since the start of the 2001 season, Kurt Busch will not be a full-time driver in the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series. He will step away while continuing to focus on his recovery from a concussion while leaving a champion-sized hole in the field.

Monday, it sure felt good to take that cumbersome bandage off my head and take a nice warm shower. I still have a pony tail, so there was a lot of dried blood back there. No more bleeding. I had slid an old white t shirt over my pillow and it was clean this AM. I am looking foreword to Thanksgiving and have a lot to be thankful for.
I think I'll get the staples taken out Monday. If I could do it on Friday, That would be great. Yet you never know how crowded the ER might be on Black Friday!

If black Friday deals have everyone at the malls, I might get a deal in the ER.
Never had staples in my head, but they pull. I have had 40 or more in my midsection three times and they only hurt when you inhale or exhale.
Yeah, I'm a tough old fellow. Those last four staples hurt! They didn't use Novocain, they used xylocaine.
Head feels fine now...by the Grace of God.

I hope everyone had a sumptuous Thanksgiving meal with an overflowing cornucopia of delightful meats and sides. I was in a semi-coma for around 3 hours and came-to in time to watch my Cowboys beat the Giants. I'll get my staples out next week...should I go to Staples?
