Re: The thoughts and prayer thread
Awsum, my friend, I am so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. I pray that He gives you and the family and friends the will to stay strong. My Poppa went downhill fast after the booster shot. 3 weeks later, he left this world. I feel your sorrow, D - Alan.

Take Vitamin D and zinc…It really helps to prevent Covid

Please don't take this the wrong way, but that is a wives tell
We were both prescribed vitamin D and zinc daily when covid started
And we both got it.

Same here...we were told to take a Super C...which had Vitamin C, Zinc, and Vitamin D...and that it would prevent us from getting covid.
We got covid two months later. Yup, worked wonders...not in the slightest. Stopped taking the stuff and changed doctors after that.
Sorry, I want a doctor who hands out sound medical advice and not some hocus pocus.
Because of what happened, we could not visit with family for more than two months. Even though we did finally test negative, even they did not trust the science. We did not see them until a family emergency and my mom had no choice the week of Christmas.

I'm sure this was the advice of lord Fauci and the CDC....all hogwash!
I'm not gonna get the third shot because I feel it killed my Poppa. 19 days after the shot he passed.

Vitamin D and Zinc was part of the medical protocol for all Covid patients given in the ICU at the hospitals around here……Drs all prescribed it and encouraged everyone to take it….It may not cure it, but it makes the infection less severe because of effectiveness Vitamin D and zinc has in the gut of blocking the virus….If you took it, it may have helped you survive this deadly virus….Hope so..

Re: The thoughts and prayer thread
As some of you may remember. My mom is going through dialysis three days a week and has a cancerous tumor in each kidney.
Last week they removed a growth on her neck and had it biopsied. The entire thing was cancerous. It was near her throat. So she is being scheduled for yet another surgery in between dialysis appts. What we do not know is if this is something totally new and a separate issue or if the cancer has spread from the kidneys. Those tumors in the kidneys were completely encased and had shown no growth in over two years. They have not removed them because it would mean the cancer would definitely spread throughout the body.
Now as for my dad, he has lost a lot of his ability to walk. So he too is scheduled for surgery. This is not the first time for him. He had this problem 13 years ago and had surgery on his spine and things went well enough that he has been able to walk all this time and do other tasks. There is no guarantee it will work this time, but we can only pray. Pray for both of them.
