I had to get the vax when my 85 year old Mamma insisted. The second shot made me sick as #Ell. ...can't wait to feel thr "Booster".

Both my parents and my mother-in-law got the shot, not sure which one, nobody has tried to talk any us into getting it meaning me, my sister, my brother, etc.

My brother and I were talking today by phone and two days ago he decided to get the vaccine. He said his wife had to get it because she works in the medical profession, his step daughter also had to get it for the same reason, his son and daughter had to get it because the school district mandated it when more than 20% of the teaching and student body were out with covid at the high school / middle school level.

Thank y'all for your warm sentiments. Mom and I found him this morning on his potty next to his bed and I find solace knowing that he went from one Throne to the next. It's not easy to have a happy birthday at this time.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Thank you all for your kind words. Been a rough week, but I'm gonna make it.
I have usually celebrated my birthday with bowling and pizza. After I finish grieving, I may do so next month.
Tuesday, when my mother and sister were making arraignments, I went and checked on Poppa three times...old habits die hard.
