Will the Chili Bowl be televised?
MAVTV will broadcast live the 33rd running of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire on Saturday, Jan. 19 starting at 8:30 p.m. ET. The HD broadcast features the world's best dirt car racers competing at the River Spirit Expo in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Jan 4, 2019

The Chili Bowl Midget Nationals is bigger than ever before with the event now starting on Monday night at the Tulsa Expo Center and running through Saturday night.

MAVTV will broadcast the main event on Saturday night, Jan. 18, starting at 8:30 p.m. ET. The HD broadcast includes the C-Mains, B-Mains and A-Main main event. The three-hour telecast will air again on Sunday, Jan. 20, starting at 1:30 a.m. ET, also on MAVTV.

With more than 300 entries, the 2020 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals field has attracted top American racers including stars from Midgets, Late Model Dirt, Super Modified, World of Outlaws, NASCAR, NHRA and USAC. Drivers hail from 30 U.S. states, plus international competition from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, making it the world's largest indoor race.


NASCAR stars Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell, who has won the last three Chili Bowl titles, are among the headliners. Fellow NASCAR competitors J.J. Yeley, Chase Briscoe, Ryan Newman, Justin Allgaier, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Alex Bowman will also compete alongside IndyCar drivers Conor Daly, Santino Ferrucci and James Davison.

Five-time event winner Sammy Swindell, defending World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion Brad Sweet, defending Knoxville Nationals winner David Gravel, 10-time World of Outlaws champion Donny Schatz and rising star Giovanni Scelzi are also on the entry list, along with Midget aces Michael Pickens, Dave Darland, Zach Daum, Tyler Courtney, Chris Windom and two-time Chili Bowl champion Rico Abreu.

Yeah, he started racing on dirt. No mule poo allowed on pit road to reduce excessive tire spin.
