THIS HAS TO BE THE DUMBEST MOVE YET…
It is a quarter mile track, in dire need of overhaul…Located in a sketchy part of town…Serious fighting in the infield…But you can afford the price of a ticket…Now getting out of the track…iffy…Maybe they will dig it up for the Clash :s_omg :s_rofl :s_rofl :s_rofl

Today, NASCAR announced that it has acquired Winston-Salem Speedway, Inc., the lessee of the historic Bowman Gray Stadium. NASCAR will manage racing operations with the City of Winston-Salem that runs through Dec. 2050.
Built in 1937, Bowman Gray Stadium, a quarter-mile short track, holds a special place in NASCAR history as the longest-running weekly racetrack. In 1949, Bill France Sr. and Alvin Hawkins, two founding fathers of NASCAR, brought motorsports to the facility as the first weekly racetrack and first paved racetrack that NASCAR competed on.

A month or so after the install we noticed a drop in the utility bills. Momma paid them in full...money well spent!
We got a quote of 18 thousand….What brand did you get?

It's a Carrier system. They didn't have to do any duct work so that may be the price difference. Ours is 3 and 1/2 ton. Maybe yours is bigger...

We have a split system with an active zone damper. One unit cools and heats the upstairs and the rest of the house.
Some of the homes here have 2 condenser units beside the house. Generally, these are 2 story homes. I can operate my upstairs thermostat with ease...I can't figure-out the downstairs t'stat.

Ours is the same as yours, but hubby decided to replace the furnace too…This unit just does the downstairs…We have another unit that does the upstairs ….

Okay, so you have 2 systems. That explains the cost. Hopefully your upstairs pipes never freeze. That's a "Hello Allstate" moment.

Our old Trane system took 30 minutes before bringing the heat. The Carrier blows heat within 3 minutes...Big difference. I hope this helps, I worked for an HVAC distribution center, so I know just enough to be dangerous!
