Ok, so we all know a bit of "how to". I love the demolition part the most. Nothing like wielding a sledgehammer!!!!

There ain't much you can't demolish with a backhoe with a front-end loader. Nothing compares.

You know, nothing affirms my belief in God like the victory Chase Briscoe had in yesterday's race. I had made my pick before hearing of the loss of their unborn daughter. That win won't erase the scar of that loss. Chase said God was driving the car for the last 8 -9 laps.....Amen.

The weather here in the Carolina's is nothing shy of perfect. I hope and pray that it stays this way for the duration of the day. Amen.

Nothing worse than upper 90s and low 100s on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

We spent Friday morning in the hospital with my father-in-law and we were back in again last night into the wee hours of the morning today.

We do have one a/c in and may take up residency in the living room this week.

To ask if my father-in-law is doing better, that answer would be no. All we can do is make him as comfortable as possible. My daughter and I have come to terms with the fact that he doesn't have long, my wife I am not so sure.

Beav, I truly sympathize with you, my friend. I know that my parent's time is limited. I do thank them for having made final arraignments when they go. It still doesn't make things any easier.
Neither my Brother nor Sister wanted to be the the keyholder to their safe deposit box...I am. Momma told me that there are a boatload of cash, titles, and deeds in there and I will trust the good Lord to help me make the right decisions when the time comes. Nothing I have ever encountered has been so tough.

Beav, I hope and pray that you and the family have moved on as best that you can. I still recall one of my best friends passing in 2005. I wondered why I didn't shed a tear upon hearing of his death, massive heart attack, he was 43. Four weeks later, I played a song that he and I had played many times together and broke down in tears and bawled for a few minutes. Nothing about grieving has a timeline. Everyone grieves differently.

Nothing even comes close to the sound of a gentle rain pattering down outside. Only had one roar of thunder, off in the distance so I emptied my rain gauge....and, I swear, the temperature dropped 15 degrees!
